The World Change

Question: How Has The World Changed In Last 40 Years? Answer: The current progress in different segments of economy, technology and innovation is a result of the long-term process of invention and globalization of different technologies in different countries. Analysis of the last 40 years of global improvements shows that during 1976-80, people were not able to imagine that the vehicles that they are driving would be operated by electricity or their will be any potential of inventing sustainable hybrid cars. In terms of political and economic progression, over the past 40 years it has been found that USA and Russia, who were considered to be the most powerful economies, are now considered to be developed economies along with other developed countries[1]. However in the period of 40 years, some of the significant development has been noticed in case of developing countries like China, Singapore and Australia. Australia has developed large number of educational institutions which has increased the GDP rate of Australia to around $ 18.1 billion. Further, USA shifted from manufacturing economy to web-based economy. In terms of technological progress, over the last years different products have been generated which has modified the lifestyle of the global population. During 1955, the introduction of wireless TV remote control helped the consumers to become more comfortable with television watching luxury. The technological progress was followed by invention of Micro wave, industrial robot, communications satellite, LED, video games and smoke detector. Microwaves and industrial robots helped in reducing the human labor in both organizations and household. The global economic progress shows that the contributions from the agricultural sectors have remained constant from 1970 to 2015 and on the contrary the economic growth from the service sector has considerably increased over the period of years. Further assessment of the medical progress shows that during 1957, the invention of the birth-control pills were a major invention that helped in regulating and monitoring the population control in different countries. The discovery of Pacemaker in 1960 helped in boosting the value of adult human life and thereby helped in increasing the life expectancy rate of the adult population. Among other notable discoveries, in 1978, the introduction of the concept of test-tube baby was made with the birth of the first test-tube baby in UK. During 1980, after vigorous inventions and experiments WHO announces the eradication of the Small pox and identification of AIDS. However, in 1996, the introduction of cloning was one of the biggest achievements in the global medical history that had the ability of changing the world. The progress in invention of necessary vacancies for lymph diseases, liver diseases, malaria, cancer and tumor has increased the life expectancy rate of the global population in last 40 years. The lifestyle of the global population has been influenced by the introduction of social networking sites from 2004. Previously during 1990, different telecom services like mobile phones, landlines and telegram posts were used for the purpose of communication. However, with the change of pace the individuals focused more on communicating through the social networking sites. Thus, it may be concluded that the progress in economy, medicine and technology has been helping the global population to improve their standards of living and making life easier for them.
